Receive More from Allah - The Ramadhan Blueprint

Suhba Club Editors

Ramadan is more than a month of fasting. It is a rare window to reset your heart, realign your priorities and rise spiritually, mentally and emotionally.

The closer you try to draw to Allah, the more He opens for you.

In Ramadan every moment carries weight. Every act of worship is multiplied. Every sincere effort is met with reward beyond what you could calculate.

So ask yourself one question:

How much do you truly want Allah?

How deeply do you crave His mercy, His guidance and His closeness?

If you want more from Allah, build Ramadan on two pillars:

  1. Ibadah (Worship) – عبادة

  2. Tarbiyah (Personal Development) – تربية

Ibadah (Worship) – عبادة

Ibadah is the foundation of your relationship with Allah. When worship is rooted in sincerity, it purifies the heart, strengthens imān (faith) and draws you into Allah’s care.

Here are six focuses for Ramadan that will elevate your worship.

1. Intentions

Enter Ramadan with deliberate intentions. Intend to be forgiven, to be among those freed from the Fire, to draw nearer to Allah and to carry the spirit of fasting beyond Ramadan. Strong intentions turn ordinary effort into extraordinary reward.

2. Qur’an

The Qur’an cleanses the heart like nothing else. Aim for a khatm if you can, even if it is steady and simple. Let the Qur’an be your anchor throughout the day. Recite in the quiet gaps of life because its light reaches you before you even notice the change.

3. Dhikr: Keep the heart awake

A tongue alive with dhikr keeps the heart alive with tranquillity. Repeat SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar and Astaghfirullah often. Let remembrance become your default state so your inner world stays soft and awake.

4. Salah: Your safest return

Salah is not a task to complete. It is a place to return to. In sujood the servant is closest to Allah, so lengthen it when you can. If you find a spare moment, pray two rak’ahs. You do not know which prayer will be the one that changes your direction.

5. Charity: Proof of iman

Give freely and give consistently. Ramadan is the month of generosity. Give online if that is easier, then also give in a way that touches people directly. Feed someone, support a struggling family and uplift those facing hardship. Charity is iman translated into action.

6. Dua: Knock on the doors of mercy

Ramadan is a month of acceptance. Ask Allah with certainty. Ask for what is big and what is small. Speak to Him with your real fears and your real hopes. The one who truly knows Allah is the one who keeps returning to Him with dua (supplication).

Tarbiyah (Personal Development) – تربية

Your character reveals your inner state. Refining yourself is not separate from worship, it is part of worship. When you work on your adab and self control, you move closer to Allah’s commands and further from what displeases Him.

Here are six areas to focus on this Ramadan.

1. Suhba: Choose your companions wisely

The people around you shape your standards, your habits and your future. Seek companions who remind you of Allah and who make obedience feel normal. If your circle does not pull you toward Allah, you may need to reassess who you allow to influence your heart.

2. Feed people: A path to barakah

Feeding others carries immense reward. Cook for someone, share your iftar and look for opportunities to serve quietly. Sometimes one meal becomes the deed that tips your scale.

3. Gifts: Strengthen love and ties

Islam builds communities through warmth, not just obligations. A thoughtful gift can soften hearts and strengthen relationships. Small gestures can carry large reward when they are done for Allah.

4. Control your tongue and temper

Fasting is meant to train you, not just empty your stomach. Guard your words. Avoid arguments. If you are provoked, step back and remember that the fasting person is meant to rise above what usually triggers them. This is the training ground for self mastery.

5. Gratitude: The key to increase

Ramadan teaches you to see blessings clearly. The first sip of water at iftar, the ability to pray, the safety of home and the gift of another day are all mercy. Keep Alhamdulillah close to your tongue and let gratitude reshape your outlook.

6. Patience: Strength in disguise

Fasting builds resilience. You learn to endure discomfort without collapsing into complaint. Patience is not passive, it is strength with restraint. When you build sabr, you build the ability to live well under pressure.

A month of infinite possibilities

The more you seek Allah, the more He will open for you.

Let this Ramadan awaken your heart. Let it deepen your worship and refine your character. Do not aim for perfection. Aim for sincerity, consistency and a real return to Allah.

If you truly want to change, this is your chance.
